On Thursday night RHG Conway Street transformed into a theater! Various tales and stories were shared and performed, with beautiful hand woven clothes, billums and a backdrop of sculptures and ornaments to set the scene. A truly delightful insight into the rich diversity of cultures that make up Papua New Guinea.

The live Art Performance was curated by Rosanna Raymond and featured bilumwear by Cathy Kata and a performance by Dr Michael Mel.

DERREN BROWN: PORTRAITS OPENING – 6 AUGUST 2009

Tuesday evening saw the illusionist and artist Derren Brown open his brand new show : Portraits. A fantastic colorful and humorous trove of celebrity portraits ranging from Hollywood star Clint Eastwood to The Queen await you at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery Charlotte street.

Camden News Journal – His local art gallery, the Rebecca Hossack Gallery in Conway Street, Fitzrovia, was the place he chose to unveil his paintings, which he has privately worked on for more than 20 years.
Among the smiling faces at the show were his parents Chris and Bob, who had travelled up from Croydon and described the evening as a source of pride, and his friend, the West Hampstead broadcaster, Stephen Fry.
